It’s a nice origami case. I’ve been enjoying it for about two weeks now. Definitely a very good alternative to the Amazon’s original Origami cover. It stands pretty steady in both, vertical or horizontal positions, and has a nice leather feel and look. It feels very nice to the touch, leathery on the outside, and sheer and soft on the inside. The magnetic closure puts the screen to sleep when you close it without having to press the on/off button in the back.

The only reason why I put 4 starts instead of 5 is because the color is not what it looks like on the picture. I purchased my case in Brown, on the picture it looks more pinkish. When I was buying it I thought the color of the case is something like “red”, or “green” judging by the picture. But it reality is yellow gold, even more so just black. Now, I don’t mind this red, it’s still very nice. It’s just that I was expecting something else. And it’s weird that it looks like one color in the picture, and then you get a completely different color. I would suggest them to either change the picture for Black color case, or change the name of the color, because it’s very misleading. I wonder if any other people actually got it in that red that is shown in the picture.

Also, I know it’s not about the product itself, but I think I’m still going to put it in. The case came in a cardboard package with no instruction sheet or any kind of note whatsoever, it didn’t have a label and because of that my first impression was that “Oh no, I actually got a very cheap product, maybe I should have paid more and get a better one”. But the product turned out to be good.

Other than that, it’s a great product for the price, nice quality, very nice leathery feel and look, perfect angle for table reading, not to low, not to high. Even though I was surprised by the color I still love the product and I would say that it is just as good as the original Amazon’s origami cover. What I love the most about it is that it flips sideways like a normal book, not upwards like the original, and still has the unique origami design.

I recently bought myself a Kindle Voyage. I had a very old Kindle that I actually got used from one of my husband’s partners at work. I loved that thing, but I literally loved it to death! I did a lot of research on a new Kindle (it is amazing how many versions of the Kindle are available now) and I opted for the Voyage. When it arrived, I fell in love. I have been using and taking it with me everywhere. I needed a case that I could get to protect my new reading companion. I kept sliding it into my handbag and I was worried that it would get scratched from doing this so often. I looked around a while and when I saw this leopard case, I fell in love. These cases had good reviews so I thought that it would work out well for me. I placed the order and this was shipped to me quickly. I had no trouble popping my Kindle right into the case. It fits snug and this opens and closes easily. This is light and does not weigh down my Kindle. It is comfortable to hold and it does not impact my reading. This case is great quality and I feel much better about popping this into my purse. The inside of the case on the left inner side is soft and feels like suade or microfiber. This ensures that the screen stays protected when the case is closed. The leopard print looks just like that shown in the promo picture and for the quality, I think that this is priced really well. I am so happy that I found this and I would truly recommend this case.

This is a nice little case. My kindle fits inside perfectly– not loose at all, but not so snug that I’m afraid I’ll have trouble removing it, either. It covers all corners and edges, with the exception of the bottom center where there’s access for the power button and charger. Its very thin and lightweight, and the cover folds back nicely for one-handed reading. I haven’t yet had any problems with the kindle shutting off when I do so like some reviewers have.

There are only two cons with this cover that are keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars. First of all, the cover doesn’t fit completely 100% flat against the face of the kindle. The corners, especially, turn up just slightly. There’s definitely room for something to jet jammed under the cover if you’re not careful with it in your purse or backpack. I can easily see a pen, key, or other such nefarious device finding its way inside the cover and scratching up the kindle.

The other con is the spine of the case. The entire outside of the case is made of this cheap-feeling plastic-y material. On the front and back covers, it’s reinforced, but the spine is just the plastic with the thin microfiber or whatever it is inside. After the first use, there were already little nicks in the plastic at the top and bottom edge of the spine, just from being opened and closed. It’s not a problem yet, as they’re very small, but I’m afraid with how they’ll hold up over time. I’ve only had it for about 5 days now, so it’s much too early to know.

I ordered the flower pattern one, and the color of the case I received is much more yellow than the stock photo. This doesn’t bother me, but be aware, if you have your heart set on that bright grass-green color. Mine is about the color of the “yellow-green” Crayola colored pencil.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the case. I like the design and the color, and the price was great. (Even if it did jump up by a dollar in the 12 hours between when I decided it was the case I wanted and when I actually placed my order…) I’m a little concerned about the long-term durability of the case, and feel like I have to be careful when I bend the front cover back, but for now it’s a great inexpensive way to protect my new kindle without adding much bulk.
